I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving Day yesterday. It was really nice going outside and not having to freeze the minute you step out.
Well, Marisa and I headed over to a free Pilates class in the morning. Yeah....I didn't know it was going to be an hour long circuit Pilates class. We kind of looked at each other like 'Omigod'. It was too late to turn around, so we endured and huffed and puffed through the hour. I felt really good afterwards. We quickly headed over to Starbucks for some hot java. mmmmmm......
After trudging back home, Marisa left to enjoy her fam's festivities. Meanwhile I got ready to go over to John's parents house for early dinner at 2pm. There was, of course, tons of good food and good fun. We ate, played cards, saw wedding albums, and drank. :) Sadly, I had to work today and Jenny, Sarah and I were going to brave it in the early am today for some early shopping. Hence we left the Craig house around 10 or so (trust, that is early).
I totally and completely did not want to wake up this morning when my alarm rang at 5:15 am. Not even the crows were up that early. But I quickly shook off my sleepiness and was ready to head out, grab some coffee and buy some crap! ;)
I do have to say we found some good deals. Walmart had kids fleece hoodies for $4, men's wrangler jeans for $8 and don't even get me started at Old Navy....I dropped over $100 there....**sigh*** I love christmas. I get to shop!
So here I am at work...I should be working but my two co-workers and I decided today was a great day for 'food day' (as if Thanksgiving is not enough). Not only I am sitting on my butt typing this, but I am enjoying some chips, salsa, wheat thins, and dip...don't even get me started on the cupcake that I am eyeballing...
i'm out for now.
