Did anyone else watch the debate last night? I watched the last 15 minutes of it, unfortunately. I thought that they had the debate on foreign policy last week? They were recapping a lot of what they had talked about in the last debate. Well at least the last 15 minutes of it.
If they had drifted with the questions, then Tom Brokaw did a bad job! It seemed towards the end Obama was a little unsure of his words because he kept stuttering. McCain seemed really strong on his proposed foreign policies (experience?).
Anyhoo, I did read on MSN that McCain proposed a bailout of the homeowners.....WTF? Is he really bribing the American people with $300 billion dollars in order to vote for him? Since I didn't see that part (which I would kill to see it now), I am not sure what Obama's reaction to this was.
All I can think of (for the reason for this bribe) is that McCain is losing voters completely and has decided to throw caution to the wind! So really what he is saying is that 'Vote for me and I can solve your housing problem?'. If that isn't a sorry excuse for a vote, I don't know what is.
Any thoughts on this?
