The story follow a young lady just out of college (or so she thought) going on a summer trip to England with a boyfriend she met only once in the 6 months she's been dating him. It is a pretty hilarious ride for her and a nonstop read.
I thought at first that it would take me a while to get through it because of her (the charachter, Lizzie) aimless thoughts. They don't call her the Lizzie Broadcasting System for nothing. The constant babble of her thoughts are pretty distracting in the beginning of the book, but I quickly got used to it.
The main guy character is completely dreamy and perfect, which is probably why I liked the book so much.
I've never read a book by Meg Cabot and found her writing style very straightforward. I like that. She really makes you feel like you are inside the character's head instead of watching the story on a sideline.
I give it a 3 1/2 stars, only because it took me a couple chapters to get into it.
